But will it last?

I like the idea of having a blog where only a few people will see it.  One that I won’t tell a lot of people about.

I got very tired of Livejournal…I felt like I was offending people right and left, and that I had posted so much unneeded crap that it was practically polluted.  But I had some quality, interesting stuff in there as well.  And I didn’t feel like the people that were my friends there were actually interested in what I had to say.  To be perfectly honest, I was incredibly annoyed when I’d comment on there blogs everyday and they would comment on mine once a month.  *rolls eyes*

Of course, there were exceptions, like my dear Marie, who led me to Myspace.  And from Myspace, I went to Facebook.  The problem I have with Myspace is, I added people to my friend’s list (because they requested friendage) that I don’t feel comfortable opening up too.  Myspace makes it a lot harder to “customize” than Livejournal, and if you post something, pretty much everyone will see it.  So its hard to get personal with people, and really, there are only a VERY few people on my Myspace friend’s list that I actually want to get personal with.

With Facebook, its the simple problem of having people on there that I find annoying and intolerable, but I never really intended for it to be like my Livejournal and Myspace.  Its not a blog anyway.

But this place…it seems nice.  Remote.  Friendly.  Pretty.  Enduring…

Maybe.  It might become another LJ.  But the main goal of having this blog is to converse with my bestest friend in the world, Kate, and maybe meet some interesting people along the way…

Wish me luck!

  1. I wish you luck and love and rainbow snowflakes and prettyprettyness.

I remember the good ole days of lj… I hope this is something different, more mature and sillier at once.

Mostly, I look forward to seeing and commenting on your blog again.
